Immediate registration action

The Health Ombudsman is able to take immediate action to suspend or impose conditions on the registration of a registered health practitioner in Queensland at any time.

 

For more information about the current registration status, including suspensions, restrictions, conditions, undertakings and reprimands of any registered health practitioner, you can search the register of practitioners online on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.


Immediate registration action taken against Mark Chalmers

The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by suspending the registration of enrolled nurse, Mark Chalmers, effective 12 March 2020.

Immediate registration action taken against Andrew Hall Blyth

The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by imposing conditions on the registration of paramedic Andrew Hall Blyth, effective 4 February 2020.

Details of Andrew Blyth’s registration can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.

One of the conditions imposed on Andrew Blyth’s registration is a requirement that he must not have any contact with female patients unless in the company of another paramedic who has at least five (5) years paramedic experience.


Immediate registration action taken against Peter James Hoddle

The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by suspending the registration of osteopath Peter James Hoddle, effective 22 January 2020.

Immediate registration action taken against Dr Phillip Ian Parker

The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by imposing conditions on the registration of Medical Practitioner Dr Phillip Ian Parker, effective 15 January 2020.

One of the conditions imposed on Dr Phillip Parker’s registration is a requirement that he must not have contact with female patients other than in the presence of an independent practice monitor.

The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by suspending the registration of paramedic Mr Michael Alexander Galloway, effective 15 January 2020.
