The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by imposing conditions on the registration of Dallas Jorge Parrish, effective 2 September 2022.

Details of Dallas Jorge Parrish's registration, including the full list of imposed conditions, can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.

Conditions imposed include the requirement that Dallas Parris:

  • must not possess, supply, administer, handle, dispense, access or check, any medicine or poison listed in Schedule 8 of the Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Medicines and Poisons (the SUSMP) as amended from time to time and as published at https://www.tga.gov.au/publications/poisons-standard-sump and pharmaceutical items containing any active ingredient listed within Schedule 8 of the SUSMP, other than when directly observed by another registered health practitioner (the supervisor)
  • must not possess, supply, administer, handle, dispense, access or check, any monitored medicine listed in Schedule 2, Part 4 of the Medicines and Poisons (Medicines) Regulation 2021 as amended from time to time and as published at https://www.legislation.qld.gov.au/view/html/asmade/sl-2021-0140#sch.2, other than when directly observed by another registered health practitioner (the supervisor)
  • must only practise as a registered health practitioner in employment and at practice/s and location/s approved by the Health Ombudsman.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
    or
  • the Health Ombudsman removes the conditions imposed on Dallas Parrish registration under section 65 of the Act.
