The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by imposing conditions on the registration of Dr Kenneth Dennys Hossen, effective 25 March 2021.

Details of Dr Kenneth Dennys Hossen’s registration, including the full list of imposed conditions, can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.

One of the conditions imposed on Dr Kenneth Dennys Hossen’s registration is the requirement the practitioner must submit to an initial audit of any dental practice owned and/or managed by the practitioner; and once the practitioner resumes practice following the satisfactory completion of the initial audit, the practitioner must submit to random audits of any dental practice owned and/or managed by the practitioner.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside

or

  • the Health Ombudsman removes the conditions imposed on Dr Kenneth Dennys Hossen’s registration under section 65 of the Act.
