The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by imposing conditions on the registration of Gavin Sean Bevins, enrolled nurse, effective 16 March 2023.
Details of Gavin Sean Bevins registration, including the full list of imposed conditions, can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.
Conditions imposed include the requirement Gavin Sean Bevins, must not practise in any role requiring direct clinical patient contact (including supervision of other practitioners engaged in direct clinical contact). The practitioner may only use their professional knowledge to practise in management, administration, education, research, advisory, regulatory or policy development roles; and must practise only in employment and at practice locations approved by the Health Ombudsman.
The following employment and practice locations have been approved by the Health Ombudsman:
- Gold Coast University Hospital, 1 Hospital Blvd, Clinical Equipment Resources Unit, Southport Qld 4215
In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:
- the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
or - the Health Ombudsman removes the conditions imposed on Gavin Sean Bevins registration under section 65 of the Act.
