The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by imposing conditions on the registration of Lee-Ann Olga Chambers, effective 30/11/2022.

Details of Lee-Ann Olga Chambers registration, including the full list of imposed conditions, can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.

Conditions imposed include the requirement that Lee-Ann Olga Chambers, must:

  • Not practise in any role requiring direct patient contact (including supervision of other practitioners engaged in direct clinical contact).
  • The practitioner may only use their professional knowledge to practise in management, administration (excluding involvement in patient financial administration or management), education, research, advisory, regulatory or policy development roles, which do not require direct patient contact.
  • Practise only in employment and at practice locations approved by the Health Ombudsman.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
  • the Health Ombudsman removes the conditions imposed on Lee-Ann Olga Chambers registration under section 65 of the Act.
