Mitchell Patrick Danaher

10 August 2021

The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by imposing conditions on the registration of Mitchell Patrick Danaher, effective 10 August 2021.

Details of Mitchell Patrick Danaher’s registration, including the full list of imposed conditions, can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.

One of the conditions imposed on Mitchell Patrick Danaher’s registration is the requirement the practitioner must not practise in any role requiring direct patient contact (including supervision of other practitioners engaged in direct patient contact). The practitioner may only use their professional knowledge to practise in management, administration, education, research, advisory, regulatory or policy development roles that do not involve direct patient contact.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
  • the Health Ombudsman removes the conditions imposed on Mitchell Patrick Danaher’s registration under section 65 of the Act.
