The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by imposing conditions on the registration of Mr Danyon Micheal Pidgeon, effective 2 June 2021.

Details of Mr Danyon Micheal Pidgeon’s registration, including the full list of imposed conditions, can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.

One of the conditions imposed on Mr Danyon Micheal Pidgeon’s registration is the requirement that he must not possess, supply, administer, handle, dispense, access, check (hereafter referred to as access) including as emergency treatment supplies, any controlled drug or any Schedule 4 restricted drug of dependency other than when it is prescribed to the practitioner by a registered health practitioner for a genuine personal therapeutic purpose.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
    or
  • the Health Ombudsman removes the conditions imposed on Mr Danyon Micheal Pidgeon’s registration under section 65 of the Act.
