The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by suspending the registration of Ronald Peter Fogarty, effective 8 September 2021.

The suspension of registration means that Ronald Peter Fogarty is prohibited from practicing as a Nurse for the duration of the suspension. Details of Ronald Peter Fogarty’s registration can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

• the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
  or
• the Health Ombudsman revokes the suspension imposed on Ronald Peter Fogarty’s registration under section 65 of the Act.
