The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by imposing conditions on the registration of Anna Kathleen Poole aka Burrough, effective 24 November 2022.

Details of Anna Kathleen Poole's (aka Burrough) registration, including the full list of imposed conditions, can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.

The conditions imposed include the requirement Anna Kathleen Poole (aka Burrough), must be supervised by another registered health practitioner (the supervisor) when undertaking cosmetic injectable procedures. For the purposes of this condition, ‘supervised’ is defined as:

• the practitioner must consult the supervisor, who is accessible by telephone or other means of telecommunication about the management of patients and/or performance of the practitioner, when necessary and at fortnightly intervals unless otherwise directed by the Health Ombudsman.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

• the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
  or
• the Health Ombudsman removes the conditions imposed on Anna Kathleen Poole's (aka Burrough) registration under section 65 of the Act.
