A prohibition order was issued to Shane Francis Farmer on 19 August 2020.

The practitioner is permanently prohibited from providing any health service at all in a paid or unpaid capacity, including but not limited to psychological services, counselling services, and mental health services to persons (whether provided in or outside the home).

This means the practitioner must not provide any health services at all.

Period of action or order

The prohibition order will continue to have effect until:

• the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets aside the decision, or
• the Health Ombudsman decides to revoke the order pursuant to section 90M of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013.
