The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by suspending the registration of Hannah Alyssa Emery, effective 15 January 2024.

The suspension of registration means that Hannah Alyssa Emery is prohibited from practicing as a paramedic for the duration of the suspension.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
    or
  • the Health Ombudsman revokes the suspension imposed on Hannah Alyssa Emery’s registration under section 65 of the Act.
