Monitoring and compliance

Where the Heath Ombudsman has taken action against a health practitioner, we monitor compliance with any conditions and restrictions placed on their practise.

At the outset of monitoring, practitioners will be provided with information about the process.

Monitoring will continue until the Health Ombudsman revokes the immediate action or the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside.

Information for health practitioners

At the outset of monitoring, health practitioners will be provided with any necessary information regarding compliance. They will also be advised of any forms that must be completed as part of the monitoring process, whether intermittently or regularly.
