The Health Ombudsman issued a prohibition order to Hao (Adam) Zhou on 30 June 2025.

The practitioner is permanently prohibited from providing any cupping therapy, cupping treatment or cupping services, in a paid or unpaid capacity.

Period of action or order

The prohibition order will continue to have effect until:

• the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets aside the decision, or
• the Health Ombudsman decides to revoke the order pursuant to section 90M of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013.
