Holiday closure times

The Office of the Health Ombudsman will be closed for the holiday period from COB Wednesday 24 December 2025 and will reopen on Friday 2 January 2026. Our phone lines will be staffed until 2.30pm on Wednesday 24 December 2025 and all voicemails and written complaints will be monitored until 4.30pm on that day.

If you need to make an urgent notification about a registered health practitioner or an urgent complaint about an unregistered health care practitioner during the office shutdown period please provide all available information with the notification/complaint and lodge online via the web complaint form or email to complaints@oho.qld.gov.au. Matters will be monitored during the office shutdown period and urgent matters requiring consideration will be attended to.
