The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by suspending the registration of Adam Thomas Cartwright, effective 22 December 2021. The suspension of registration means that Mr Cartwright is prohibited from practicing as a pharmacist for the duration of the suspension. Details of Mr Cartwright's registration can be viewed on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency website.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

• the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
  or
• the Health Ombudsman revokes the suspension imposed on Mr Cartwright's registration under section 65 of the Act.
