The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by suspending the registration of Dr Robyn Mary James, effective 25 October 2021.

The suspension of registration means that Dr Robyn Mary James is prohibited from practicing as a Medical Practitioner for the duration of the suspension.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

• the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside

or

• the Health Ombudsman revokes the suspension imposed on Dr Robyn Mary James registration under section 65 of the Act.
