The Health Ombudsman took immediate registration action by suspending the registration of Laura Jean Johnson, effective 4 May 2022. The suspension of registration means that Laura Jean Johnson is prohibited from practicing as a pharmacist for the duration of the suspension.

In accordance with section 62(2) of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act), the Health Ombudsman’s decision will continue to have effect until:

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets the decision aside
    or
  • the Health Ombudsman revokes the suspension imposed on Laura Jean Johnson's registration under section 65 of the Act.
