The Health Ombudsman issued a prohibition order to Constantin Aciobanitei on 21 February 2025.

Scope of Practice

The practitioner is permanently prohibited from having contact with female patients, paid or otherwise, in a clinical or non-clinical capacity.

This means that the practitioner must not provide any health services (which includes a support service) at all to female patients.

(‘Female’ is defined as any individual whose biological sex is that of a female, as well as individuals whose gender identity or gender expression is that of a female.)

Period of action or order

The prohibition order will continue to have effect until:

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets aside the decision, or
  • the Health Ombudsman decides to revoke the order pursuant to section 90M of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013.
