The Health Ombudsman issued a prohibition order to Robert Matthew Dwyer on 23 April 2026.  

The practitioner is permanently prohibited from providing any health service, paid or otherwise, in a clinical or non-clinical capacity, which involves in-person or physical contact with patients.

Period of action or order

The prohibition order will continue to have effect until:  

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets aside the decision, or 
  • the Health Ombudsman decides to revoke the order pursuant to section 90M of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013.
