The Health Ombudsman issued a prohibition order to Sherri Rae-Ann Moores on 4 December 2024.

Scope of Practice

The practitioner must:

  • obtain Health Ombudsman approval for any employment providing a health service
  • must inform any new or current employer (where the practitioner is providing a health service or a support service to a health service) of these restrictions, and
  • must not possess, supply, handle, access, administer, dispose or check monitored medicines in the course of any employment if she is providing a health service or a support service to a health service.

Period of action or order

The prohibition order will continue to have effect until:

  • the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal sets aside the decision, or
  • the Health Ombudsman decides to revoke the order pursuant to section 90M of the Health Ombudsman Act 2013.
